Scientific Name: Entandrophragma angolense

Another distinguished member of the Entandrophragma mahogany family. Tiama features beautiful reddish-brown color with an attractive ribbon figure. Excellent for furniture, cabinetry, and decorative veneer applications.

Heartwood is pinkish-brown to reddish-brown, similar to Sapele but often lighter. Develops rich color with age.

Grain is interlocked, producing characteristic ribbon figure. Texture is medium with good natural luster.
