Our Story
Founded in 1994 by Dr. Emmanuel Mbarga, Green Valley Inc. began with a vision: to prove that sustainable forestry could be both environmentally responsible and economically viable.
What started as a small operation with 20 employees has grown into Cameroon's leading sustainable timber company, employing over 500 people and serving 35 countries worldwide. Our success is built on an unwavering commitment to sustainability, quality, and community partnership.
In 2002, we became the first timber company in Cameroon to achieve FSC® certification, setting a new standard for the industry. Today, we continue to innovate in sustainable forestry practices, from our zero-waste facilities to our comprehensive reforestation programs.
